Getting out of Email and into Gmail
Tue, 2007-04-10 16:04 — trevortwining
Google Apps for Domains service is doing such a great job that I will no longer be hosting email, not even my own.
I've moved three clients over to it after running a test on a small domain I manage myself.
I am moving my email over to Google starting today, I can then shut down my incoming mail and know that someone with a few billion dollars in the bank is looking after it.

Yes you can!
With Google Apps for Domains, it basically offers you shared email, calendar and documents.
You can use your own domain, and either register it through Google (one of the ways they monetize the service) or you can point a few MX and CNAME dns entries to Google and keep the domain where it currently resides.
